A monthly gathering of curious people, unhurried conversations,
and the kind of silence only mountains can hold.
The Slow Circle is a monthly gathering at The Sweven NeerVan — a weekend where a small group of people come together with no agenda, no structured programme, and no obligation to be anything other than themselves.
Some of the best conversations happen at the edge of things — after dinner, around the bonfire, on a morning walk when nobody is trying to be interesting. That is the space we are trying to create. Not a workshop. Not a networking event. Not a retreat with a curriculum.
Just people. Coffee. The valley below. And whatever emerges when interesting minds are given space and time.
"The conversations you remember most are the ones that weren't planned."
Nothing is mandatory. Everything is available. The weekend shapes itself around the people in it.
Unhurried mornings on the terrace with the Ganga Valley below. No agenda, no clock. Just coffee and whoever shows up.
The best conversations at NeerVan have always happened around the fire. Two evenings, no rules, no host moderating. Just warmth and honesty.
A gentle trail to Neer Waterfall through the village. Birdsong, cool air, and the kind of quiet that reminds you why you came.
Sattvic, wholesome food. Every meal eaten together. The table is where the circle actually begins.
Our purpose-built aerial yoga hall with the valley as the backdrop. Available for those who want it — never imposed on those who don't.
A curated outing — the river, the forest, a local spot most visitors never find. Together, unhurried, with no fixed return time.
Check in, settle in, find your room. No welcome ceremony. No icebreakers.
The valley turns gold. The group finds each other naturally, over sunset and the view.
Long table. Warm food. The first real conversation of the weekend begins here.
No structure. Sit as long as you want. Leave when you're ready.
Breakfast available from 8am. Coffee in the dining space. The morning belongs to you.
A curated day out — the river, local spots, lunch somewhere unexpected. Back by evening.
The studio is open for anyone who wants to try. No experience needed. (We will skip this if the outing goes long. No pressure to do things and tiring ourselves.)
Saturday night tends to go late. The conversations here are the ones people remember.
An easy 45-minute trail through the village. Optional — but worth it.
Breakfast. The valley. Nobody rushing. Checkout at your convenience — and stay after for more conversations over coffee.
Payment is only due after your application is reviewed and confirmed. No upfront commitment required to apply.
You are looking for a structured retreat with sessions and outcomes. You need a packed schedule to feel like you got value. You find unstructured time uncomfortable. You are coming primarily to network or promote something.
The Slow Circle works because everyone who comes has been chosen for their genuine curiosity and comfort with open space. The application process exists to protect that.
For the last decade and a half, I’ve been living in a cycle of building, learning, and—most importantly—unlearning. My path has always been at the intersection of business and meaning: from leading revenue at Goibibo to the high-altitude grit of HIAL in Ladakh, and eventually finding home in Rishikesh with NeerVan and Black Pole Coffee.
I created The Slow Circle because I kept noticing a quiet truth at NeerVan: the conversations that actually changed us were never the ones we planned. This is my attempt to create more of those moments—deliberately, frequently, and with the right people. It’s an invitation to pull up a chair and finally stop rushing past the things that matter.
We read every application. There is no right or wrong answer — we are simply trying to understand who you are and what draws you here. The process is a conversation, not a filter.
If shortlisted, we will reach out within 3 days for a brief call. Payment is only requested once you are confirmed.
"Hosted a women's retreat at this magical place. Location is best — you skip the traffic of Rishikesh entirely. The host team handled everything so I could focus entirely on my participants."
