We are approximately 10km from Tapovan, the main hub of Rishikesh. The drive takes around 20–30 minutes depending on traffic and road conditions.
From Delhi: Approximately 6–7 hours by road (270km). Volvo buses and trains to Haridwar/Rishikesh are available from Delhi, after which you can hire a local cab to reach us.
From Dehradun airport: Approximately 1.5–2 hours by road.
From Haridwar: Approximately 60–90 minutes by road.
Yes, we can arrange pick-up and drop. Please mention this when booking and we will share the details and pricing.
Yes, the property is accessible by car and we have in-house parking for your vehicles.
The last 8km from Tapovan is mainly an unpaved mountain road. Prior experience of mountain driving will be helpful to navigate this stretch. If you are unsure, we recommend arranging a pick-up with a local driver familiar with the route.
We have two types of accommodation — The Cottage and The Swiss Tent. We have 8 cottages and 2 Swiss tents, accommodating up to 20 guests on double sharing basis.
The Cottage is a proper room with a valley view, AC, and a private attached bathroom. The Swiss Tent is a comfortable glamping tent with an ensuite washroom — perfect for those who want to feel closer to nature.
The Cottage is a permanent room structure — stone walls, wooden interiors, AC, and a private attached bathroom with a valley view. Ideal for those who prefer a more traditional room setting.
The Swiss Tent is a furnished canvas tent with an ensuite washroom — comfortable and cosy, with the outdoor mountain-air feel that many guests love. The altitude and mountain breeze keep it naturally cool.
The Cottage has AC. The Swiss Tent has an Air Cooler — the altitude and mountain breeze keep it naturally cool, especially in the evenings and mornings.
Yes, hot water is available in both accommodations.
Check-in: 1:00 PM onwards. Check-out: 11:00 AM.
If you are arriving earlier, please let us know in advance and we will do our best to accommodate an early check-in depending on availability.

Yes, WiFi is available at the property at speeds of 10–15 Mbps. Being in the hills, this is reliable for most everyday needs. We also gently recommend using this time to disconnect a little — the valley has a way of making screens feel less important.
Bookings are available in EP (Room Only) and CP (Bed & Breakfast) plans on our website. All meals — breakfast, lunch, and dinner — are available in-house as per our menu and can be arranged separately.
We serve wholesome, freshly cooked vegetarian food — light, nourishing and genuinely delicious. Egg-based dishes are also served if needed. Everything is prepared fresh using seasonal ingredients.
Yes, we are happy to accommodate dietary requirements. Please let us know at the time of booking and we will make the necessary arrangements.
We are a vegetarian property. Only eggs are served additionally. Non-vegetarian food is not served or permitted on the premises.
You are welcome to bring vegetarian food from outside. Please note that since we are situated outside the city, Zomato, Swiggy, and other online food delivery platforms do not cover our location. All meals are readily available in-house as per our menu.
NeerVan is designed for slowness, not a packed activity list. Most guests find themselves enjoying the valley views from the terrace, the morning walk to sourves of Neer Waterfall, bonfire evenings under the stars, reading, and the infinity plunge pool with the Ganga Valley below.
We can also arrange local excursions around Rishikesh — river rafting, temple visits, local village walks — on request.
Aerial yoga uses silk hammocks suspended from the ceiling to support the body in various yoga poses — it combines traditional yoga with elements of dance and acrobatics, but is deeply accessible for beginners.
No prior experience is required. Our instructors guide participants comfortably regardless of fitness level.
Yes, we can help arrange a private aerial yoga session. Please note this needs to be requested at least one day in advance, and confirmation is subject to instructor availability. WhatsApp us to check and book.
The Neer Waterfall trail is a gentle, easy walk through the village — approximately 45 minutes one way. It passes through local farmland and forested paths, and the waterfall source itself is a beautiful, quiet spot that most tourists never find.
Comfortable walking shoes are recommended. The trail is suitable for most fitness levels.
Yes, we can help arrange local excursions including river rafting on the Ganga, visits to Triveni Ghat, the Beatles Ashram, local temple trails, and other Rishikesh highlights. Please let us know in advance and we will organise the details.

We can accommodate up to 20 people on double sharing basis across our 10 rooms — 8 cottages and 2 Swiss tents. For groups requiring single occupancy, the effective capacity is lower. Please contact us to discuss your specific requirements.

We have a network of certified aerial yoga instructors, sound healers, meditation teachers, pottery workshop facilitators, and more. Share your retreat vision with us and we will suggest the right collaborators to complete your programme.
Yes, absolutely. Many retreat hosts bring their own facilitators and use NeerVan purely as the venue. We support both arrangements — venue-only and venue-plus-facilitator. You focus on your participants; we handle the rest.
The Slow Circle is a monthly weekend gathering at NeerVan for a small, curated group of curious, open-minded people. No agenda, no programme, no performance. Just conversation, coffee, the valley, and good company over two nights.

Each circle is kept small and intentional — typically 8 to 14 people. The group is carefully put together so the mix of backgrounds and personalities creates interesting, natural conversation.
We read every application and have a brief call with shortlisted applicants. We are not looking for credentials — we are looking for curiosity, openness, and comfort with unstructured time. Yes. NeerVan is a private, gated property away from the main tourist areas of Rishikesh. Our team is small, known, and always present on the property. Many solo women have stayed and returned. We are happy to answer any specific concerns over WhatsApp before you book.
Yes, children are welcome at NeerVan. Please note the property is on a hillside, so we recommend keeping a close eye on young children around the open areas and the pool.
Yes, pets are welcome. Please let us know in advance so we can make the necessary arrangements and ensure other guests are comfortable.
Consumption of alcohol in open or public spaces within the property is not permitted. You may consume within the privacy of your room, as long as it does not disturb other guests.
NeerVan is beautiful year-round, but here is a guide:
October–March: Ideal. Clear skies, cool temperatures, the valley at its most dramatic. Pack warm layers for evenings and nights, especially December–January.
April–June: Warm but pleasant in the hills. A good time to visit in the peak season while avoiding the summr crowds hitting main Rishikesh.
July–September: Monsoon season — lush, green, and beautiful, though some trails may be wet. Perfect if you love the rain and mist.
Light layers you can add or remove — mornings and evenings are always cooler than afternoons, even in summer. Comfortable walking shoes for the waterfall trail. Sunscreen. A good book. A light jacket for evenings year-round.
December and January can be genuinely cold at night — pack a warm fleece or down jacket if visiting in winter.
Everything else can be left behind.
A boutique retreat space for artists, writers, meditators, and wandering souls. Perched above the Ganga Valley, Rishikesh — where time slows down and you remember who you are.
